Jungle hikes, crystal pools, and hidden gems — discover Bali’s most breathtaking waterfalls.
When people think of Bali, they often picture beaches and rice fields — but some of the island’s most magical spots are found deep in the jungle. Bali is home to dozens of stunning waterfalls, each with its own unique vibe — from powerful cascades to secret pools perfect for a swim.
After years of exploring, here are four of our favorite waterfalls — easy to reach, camera-worthy, and absolutely worth the trip.
Vibe: Calm, peaceful, great for swimming
Getting there: Around 45 minutes from Ubud
This one is a hidden gem — not too crowded, with a short, easy walk through the jungle. The waterfall drops into a wide pool perfect for a cool dip. It’s also one of the most photogenic waterfalls we’ve visited, especially in the morning light.

Vibe: Tiered rocks, Insta-famous, good for photos
Getting there: Just 30 minutes from Ubud
Kanto Lampo is unique — it flows over stepped rocks, creating a beautiful wall of water. While it’s not great for swimming, it’s a fun spot to cool off and take some gorgeous photos. It can get busy with tour groups, but the setting is magical.
Vibe: Epic, powerful, best for adventurers
Getting there: About 2.5–3 hours from Ubud or Canggu
If you only visit one waterfall in Bali — make it this one. Sekumpul is actually a series of waterfalls surrounded by lush jungle and dramatic cliffs. The hike down takes 30–45 minutes and involves steps and river crossings, but the view is absolutely worth the effort.

Vibe: Narrow, hidden, peaceful
Getting there: About 1.5 hours from Canggu
Leke Leke is one of the most beautiful waterfalls we’ve found near the south. It’s a tall, narrow drop into a shaded jungle pool, surrounded by hanging vines. The trail is well-marked and not too challenging.
